Dr Patrick Kennedy is a Chartered Mining Engineer from the Camborne School of Mines, and a business leader with more than 30 years of management and project experience across multiple countries in mining services, mining, explosives and exploration. He worked with Rio Tinto and Orica Mining Services for 24 years, as well as other corporate ventures.
• Expert in commercial explosives and their application in mining and quarrying. Held global roles in explosives businesses with experience in more than 40 countries.
• Managed businesses with a track record of growth and business turn around in difficult environments.
• Has lead and participated in numerous M&A projects; including projects that were multiple-country, technology orientated, services orientated and complex mergers.
• Highly experienced in services contracting and bidding, designing unique operational solutions for customers with personnel and equipment on customers sites, more than 200 tenders across 30 countries.
• Outstanding global operating experience with exposure to Africa, Europe, US, Latin America, Russia, Middle East, Asia and Australia; having lived in Australia, UK, Germany, South Africa, South Korea and Singapore.
• Significant Company Director, Chairman and Non-Exec experience in multiple countries.
